SCULPTURES
Over 80% of the materials used in the sculpture must be recovered, reused or recycled. Exceptions include glue, nails, adhesives and other materials needed to hold the sculpture together.
2 DIMENSIONAL ART
Over 80% of the materials used must be recovered, reused or recycled. Exceptions include glue, nails, adhesives and other materials needed to hold the piece together. Art must be ready to hang.
FUNCTIONAL ITEMS
For example: chairs, benches, tables, lamps, modes of transportation, clothing etc. The majority of materials used must be from recovered, reused or recycled materials.
Note: Furniture must be sturdy, safe and able to hold a 120 pound person.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Photographs of the following subjects may be submitted: garbage, discarded items, recyclable materials such as paper/metal/glass, ingenious uses of trash, the impacts of humans on environmental landscapes (including the impacts of man made trash as well as the impacts of the natural resource extractive industries). Works may also be composed of found and salvaged items.
VIDEO
Video submission clips may be no longer than 3 minutes and should contain one of the following themes: garbage, discarded items, ingenious uses of trash, recycling, the impacts of humans on environmental landscapes (including the impacts of man made trash as well as the impacts of the natural resource extractive industries). Works may also be composed of found and salvaged footage.
MUSIC
Music submissions may be no longer than 3 minutes and should be composed using instruments made from discarded items e.g. garbage cans, parts of old cars, oil drums, plastic bags, glass bottles etc. Works may also be composed of found and salvaged sounds.

All submissions (including required attachments) must be submitted by:
